VIEWPOINTS:

INTERVIEWS WITH VISUAL JOURNALISTS

Documentary photographer Preston Gannaway, left, poses with E.J (center) and his father Rich St. Pierre in 2013 and again in 2022 while working on their longterm project, Remember Me, which chronicles the family's 17-year journey through and beyond the death of E.J.'s mother Carolynne when he was three-years-old. The body of work was published as a book in 2023.

WHAT ARE VIEWPOINTS?

We felt it was extremely important to bring in voices from a wide range of professional visual journalists representing different backgrounds, areas of expertise and experience-levels so that people engaging with the book and website could connect with one or more of the people we interviewed. Hopefully, as time allows, we can add to this body of interviews and provide an even more comprehensive archive of experiences in our quickly evolving field. We are extremely thankful to everyone who selflessly provided their time and expertise for this ViewPoint project!
